Q : How to configuring the GPRS on your device ?
A: These operation can work for all our GPRS model Z-6700/Z-6900/FG-1/FG-2/Z-8000 (i use free PC based software)
IF YOU USE OUR CLOUD SOFTWARE , PLEASE SKIP TO BUTTON FOR OPERATION .
Preparation:
1. A piece of SIM card with GPRS data traffic service and confirm the APN (access point name ) with your SIM card vendor .
Or you can Google the APN result by searching your SIM card brand .
For example, if you are in Philippine ,and your SIM card vendor is ” Globe” , then you can find the APN information from google :
APN : internet.globe.com.ph

2. If you use PC based software (not web based by visiting the website) , you must have global static IP .If no , you have to find a DDNS ( Dynamic Domain Services) program to settle this . (Can click here to download the manual “DDNS to enable GPRS avaliable for LAN (for model Z-6700 Z-6900 FG-1 FG-2 Z-8000)”for DDNS configuration)
3. Port mapping from router (can refer same manual as above for port mapping )
4. Go to Guard Patrol Software and run “Patrolserverlisten.exe” to enter the port number
5. Run software Patrol.exe and connect your patrol device to upload network information to your patrol device .
After network setup finished , you can check from device (for model Z-6900/FG-1/FG-2/Z-8000)by going to menu and find ” About” to confirm whether network information is same as you set in software .
For Z-6700, you can check on software by clicking ” Show network “
6. Restart your device manually by pressing the power button and scan some check point to test whether data can be sen out to your software automatically .

A: If use cloud software , setup is very simple.

3. Upload network information to device
